[CITY], [DATE] — Pxier today announced that its event and catering management software now supports France's mandatory business-to-business electronic invoicing (e-invoicing), giving French hospitality operators a compliant path ahead of the 2026–2027 rollout.
France is phasing in mandatory structured e-invoicing: from 1 September 2026 for large enterprises and mid-size enterprises (ETI, Entreprise de Taille Intermédiaire), and from 1 September 2027 for all remaining VAT-registered businesses. Under the reform, invoices between VAT-registered businesses must be issued as machine-readable electronic invoices and transmitted through an accredited platform (plateforme agréée, or PA), with summarized data reported to the DGFiP.
Pxier's event and catering software now generates compliant CII-XML e-invoices directly from the data users already capture for each invoice — including deposit invoices, debit notes and credit notes — and uploads them to the accredited platform. Users simply select the invoices and click Upload; the software produces the CII-XML file, transmits it to the PA, and displays the upload status. Pxier currently works with ITESoft as its accredited platform partner.
Built for hospitality, ready for the mandate
Because the e-invoice is generated from the same booking and billing data that event and catering teams already manage in Pxier, there is no duplicate entry and no separate accounting export step. The result is a compliant, low-effort workflow for banquet, catering and event billing in France.
